Long weekends stuck in a truckstop can get you some good-looking dick to play with. Find some bored and lonely trucker who would love to take in the sights with you as a tour guide, and I'm sure he'll want to show you some sights of his own in return.

Finally got around to uploading the forum software. Now just have to get in touch with the webhosting folks so they can set the permissions, and we should be rolling. I hope! I remember the grief this caused last time. ::: sigh :::

Two Weeks After Hand Surgery

I can type a bit now, but it's still painful to peck at the keys properly. If I try to do the one-finger thing, my hand curls up and it hurts like hell to uncurl it. Right or wrong - it still hurts to use my right hand.


Of all the things I miss doing with both hands, I miss drawing and painting the most. It has become a pain in the ass to wrap my hand in a plastic bag everytime I shower. Worse yet, is having to change the bandages every single day. The toughest part of all this is having to take the antibiotics. Those things smell nasty, and they turn my stomach if I don't eat something when I gulp down those pills. I'm sure they're helping me heal, but they're a pain in the ass, too.


Strange as it may sound, I hope I can go back to work next week. I'm worried about this next pay period. I have a feeling I won't get a paycheck, and my rent is due on the 1st. I'm still waiting for the paperwork so I can get some sort of pay for the time I'm away from work. But I imagine that will take its sweet time to be processed. I fucking hate red tape!


Bummer.

Warm Weather Returns

I'm glad the warmer weather has returned here to the northeast.

It feels like winter has been around too long, and some of the colder temperatures flat out refused to go away. Just this past weekend I bundled up at night because of the cold temperatures.



The temperature outside, however, is almost at eighty degrees, and I've seen more than one man wearing a plain t-shirt and jeans. That's how I like to see a working man - wearing as little as possible! Take this log hauler, for example. Nice!
