If you're over 25 or 30, you may still remember the old school ways of chasing truckers.
Do you remember driving out to a truck parking lot for a chance to meet truckers?
Do you remember having to speak to truckers face to face?
Do you remember sneaking in the bushes without cellphones?
Now you can chase truckers from your sofa on your notebook computer, or from Dunkin Donuts on your Blackberry. So much for the thrill of the chase.
I always loved the thrill of the chase. Those wooded areas at rest stops, or climbing into the cab of a horny truckers rig. I did have some regular truckers who would call me at home when they were passing through and we would have a quick roll and then get them back on the road. I never had a CB but always found good hunting along the interstate rest areas or at truck stops. Miss the good old days, but the modern methods don't disappoint.
